JULY AND AUGUST 2023
I am working towards a curated project at Galerie der Künstler*innen – an exhibition based on the work and life of the late great artist Eva Hesse. I am forever inspired by her and looking forward to this great project with 20 female (and those that identify as female) artists.
BEYOND THE MATTER – Impressions of Eva Hesse, is an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the late great artist Eva Hesse. Hesse was a German-born American sculptor known for her pioneering work in materials such as latex, fibreglass, and plastics. She is one of the artists who ushered in the postminimal art movement in the 1960s. The exhibition consists of 20 artists who are inspired by Hesse in their own practise. Whether through her use of materials and forms or simply inspired by the fascinating life she lived each artist has been asked to make work that they feel references Hesse in some way. Tragically she died at the young age of 34. This exhibition is a celebration and a tribute to a wonderful artist that is still inspiring others more than 50 years after her death.
ARTISTS: Judith Adelmann, Melanie Chacko, Sarah Doerfel, Olga Golos, Mari Iwamoto, Simone Kessler, Katja Köditz, Youlee Ku, Gretta Louw, Elisa Manig, Evelyn Möcking, Felicia Mülbaier, Ursula Oberhauser, Maria Antonio Positano, Kika Rufino, Cordula Schieri, Anne Seiler, Katharina Steinkohl, Sophie Utikal and Neringa Vasiliauskaite

MARCH 2020
I am curating a group show for this years Schmuckwoche in Munich.
jewellery-not jewellery…with 25 artists.
A multi-disciplinary exhibition that attempts to blur and break down the boundaries between jewellery and art: sculpture, media, painting and performance artists come together to create art pieces with jewellery, art pieces about jewellery and of course jewellery as art pieces. This exhibition opens a broader conversation in regards to how we define jewellery in an art context.

‘What’s love got to do with it!’ is an exhibition of artist couples.
By placing works parallel can one see a connection between two people?
Each artist works independently, however we ask the question
or rather pose the question, has love got anything to do with it!?
Curated by myself, this group exhibition will be shown at a
temporary off-space near the entrance of the Münchner Freiheit Bahnhof.
